যথাযোগ্য মর্যাদায় ফুল আর শ্রদ্ধায় ভাষা শহীদদের স্মরনের মাধ্যমে সারা দেশের ন্যায় কেরাণীগঞ্জেও পালিত হয়েছে আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস ২০১৯। দিনের কর্মসূচীর মধ্যে ছিল একুশের প্রথম প্রহরে শহীদ বেদিতে পুষ্পার্ঘ্য অর্পণ,প্রভাত ফেরি, বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে একুশের ছড়া-কবিতাবৃত্তি, গান , চিত্রাংকন প্রতিযোগীতা, আলোচনা সভা এবং মিলাদ মাহফিল ও দোয়া মোনাজাত। একুশের প্রথম প্রহরে বুধবার দিবাগত রাত ১২:০১ মিনিটে উপজেলা চত্বরে কেরাণীগঞ্জের কেন্দ্রীয় শহীদ মিনার এবং জিনিজিরা পীএম পাইলট স্কুল এন্ড কলেজের বেদিতে ফুল দিয়ে শ্রদ্ধাভরে ভাষা শহীদদের স্মরণ করেন কেরাণীগঞ্জের বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক, সামাজিক, সাংস্কৃতিক সংগঠনের নেতা-কর্মী, শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থী,কেরণীগঞ্জ প্রেস ক্লাবের সাংবাদিক বৃন্দ, উপজেলা প্রশাসনসহ বিভিন্ন শ্রেণী-পেশার মানুষ।
একুশের প্রথম প্রহরে জিনজিরা পীএম পাইলট স্কুল এন্ড কলেজের শহীদ বেদিতে ঢাকা-৩ আসনের সাংসদ বিদ্যুৎ , জ্বালানী ও খনিজ সম্পদ প্রতিমন্ত্রী নসরুল হামিদ বিপু’র পক্ষে এবং উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের আহবায়ক ও উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান শাহীন আহমেদের পক্ষে ফুলের তোড়া দিয়ে শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেন উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগ ও তার সকল সহযোগী সংগঠনের নেতৃবৃন্দ। এর পরপরই শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেন কেরাণীগঞ্জ মডেল থানা পুলিশ, কেরাণীগঞ্জ গ্রাজুয়েট সোসাইটি, জিনজিরা পীএম পাইলট স্কুল এন্ড কলেজ, জিনজিরা ইউনিয়ন পরিষদ,আগানগর ইউনিয়ন পরিষদ, কেরাণীগঞ্জ ক্রীড়া উন্নয়ন পরিষদ, বিভিন্ন শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান ও পেশাজীবি সংগঠন।
একই সময়ে উপজেলা কেন্দ্রীয় শহীদ মিনারে উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান শাহীন আহমেদ ও উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের পক্ষে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন পুস্পস্তাবক অর্পন করা হয়। এছাড়া পুষ্পার্ঘ্য অর্পণ করেন উপজেলা পরিষদ,দক্ষিণ কেরাণীগঞ্জ থানা পুলিশ, বিভিন্ন শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান ও পেশাজীবি সংগঠন।
মহান একুশে ফেব্রæয়ারী শহীদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উপলক্ষে আগানগর ইউনিয়নের ৫নং ওয়ার্ড শ্রমিক লীগের উদ্যোগে স্থানীয় ইনসাফ মার্কেট এলাকায় একটি অস্থায়ী শহীদ মিনার নির্মান করে সেখানে শহীদদের স্মরনে পুস্পার্পণ, আলোচনা সভা , মিলাদ-মাহফিল ও দোয়া মোনাজাতের আয়োজন করা হয় । একুশের এ আলোচনা সভায় অন্যান্যের মধ্যে আরো উপস্থিত ছিলেন ইউনিয়ন শ্রমিক লীগ সভাপতি ফরিদ আহমেদ, সাধারণ সম্পাদক শাহদাৎ হোসেন,ওয়াকিল আহম্মেদ,তারিফ হোসেন,সাগির আহম্মেদ, মো.মনির হোসেন,ওসমান গনি,ফরিদ ভুইয়া,দুলাল ঢালী,মজনু মিয়া প্রমুখ।
এছাড়া দিন ভর বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে একুশের ছড়া-কবিতাবৃত্তি, গান , চিত্রাংকন প্রতিযোগীতা, আলোচনা সভা এবং মিলাদ মাহফিল ও দোয়া মোনাজাত অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। বিভিন্ন সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক সংগঠনগুলোও দিনভর একুশের নানা কর্মসুচীতে মুখর থাকে। #
